Moneycapade home screen: a game map of setup steps, safe-to-spend today of $38, and a Get Started card showing 5 of 12 steps done

Built for real life, not perfect months

Most budget apps assume you have extra money. Moneycapade starts with where you actually are.

Paycheck plan

Know what's left until payday

Every bill is matched to the paycheck that pays it, so you can see what's safe to spend before the next deposit.

  • Weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly pay
  • Paycheck breakdown from gross to take-home
  • Bonuses and side income counted only when they arrive
Next payday screen: 3 days to payday, $5 left to spend after bills, goals and spending
Break-even mode

Short this month? Get a plan

If your bills are bigger than your pay, the map switches to step-by-step help: cover the basics, cut one cost, find an income idea, call a creditor.

  • Word-for-word call scripts for rates, late fees and medical bills
  • A benefits finder that links only to official sites
  • No shaming. "It's a starting point, not a grade."
Break-even screen: about $1,015 short this month, with a Stage 0 path to get to break-even
Debt payoff

Count down to debt-free

Pick snowball (smallest balance first) or avalanche (highest rate first) and watch your debt-free date move closer each time you pay.

  • Daily interest and promo rates, so your numbers can match your statements
  • Starter cushions of $100, $500 and $1,000 along the way
  • A celebration when a debt hits $0
Debt-free countdown: 531 days to go, debt-free in March 2028
Stick with it

A game you'll actually open

Your setup steps and money milestones become a map with quests. Earn XP, badges and outfits for real progress, not for spending.

  • Streak freezes for the days life happens
  • Ask Rollo for plain-English answers about any screen
  • Setup cards walk you through everything; skip any step
Progress screen with a payoff chart and badges such as Liftoff, First swing and $1K crushed

Questions

When does Moneycapade launch?

We're finishing the app and running a small beta first. Waitlist members hear first, and can ask to join the beta. Beta testers get 50% off their first year of Premium at launch as a thank-you.

iPhone or Android?

Both. Moneycapade is coming to the App Store and Google Play.

Do I have to link my bank?

No. You can type your numbers in or import a file from your bank for free. Bank linking is an optional Premium feature. It's read-only, so the app can't move money, and Moneycapade never sees your bank password.

Where is my data stored?

Without an account, your plan stays on your phone. Signing in is optional and only needed for sync, backup and sharing with a partner.

Is this financial advice?

No. Moneycapade is an educational budgeting tool. It helps you organize your own numbers and choices, and links to official resources when you need more help.

Who makes Moneycapade?

Montgomery Appworks LLC, a small independent studio. Questions? Email [email protected].

What do you do with my email?

We store your email address, whether you asked to join the beta, the date and time you signed up (your consent), the page you signed up from, and your country. We don't store your IP address. We use it only to email you about Moneycapade's launch and beta. We don't sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your email anytime at [email protected].
